Apostolates

We meet regularly to...

  • pray together
  • reflect on the Word of God
  • share our everyday lives
We acknowledge that it is the deep union of each member with Christ, which nourishes our sisterly union; and creates the strong bonds that unite us. It was the historical context of the French Revolution - at the time of our foundation - which necessitated this original form of community life. For more than 200 years we have maintained strong community bonds, while being separated through circumstances; and because of our varied missions.

We respond to the needs of today's world by...

  • being a praying presence
  • holding professional responsibilities
  • teaching in educational establishments
  • doing volunteer work alongside the laity
  • collaborating in faith formation in parishes
  • Viewing the glory of God and the good of the Church.
All Daughters of the Heart of Mary share in the Mission entrusted by Christ to his Church. We are called to the joy and responsibility of being witnesses to the liberating power of his Gospel.
